A Short Welcome from Pastor Dave Latham

Thank you for visiting our website and we hope that you will give us the opportunity to meet you face-to-face in the near future. We are located in beautiful Fort Payne, AL and we consider it a privilege to serve this great community and the surrounding area. With God’s help, our desire is to see our members develop a biblical world and life view that enables them to experience the love and grace of God and to express the love and grace of God in every aspect of their lives.

We want to see this happen in a few specific ways:

Faithful and Loving Witness- We want to be faithful to Christ, the infallible Scriptures, and the gospel message of salvation. Yet, we want to communicate these great truths in a loving and patient way.

Helping Neighbor- We want to be active in the community that God has placed us and we want to use our time, talent, and treasure to love and serve those around us for the glory of Christ.

Transforming Community- God has built us to flourish in community and relationship. Ultimately, a relationship with God through Christ is the basis for wholeness in all the other relationships we have. We want our members to be in relationship with others because this helps build the authentic community and accountability that are meant to build the church and each other.

Kingdom Focus- We want to hold to our reformed distinctives but celebrate the Kingdom of God in all of its diversity. We want to maintain an outward focus on God’s Kingdom, not just our church and our denomination. We want to engage with the culture and work to fulfill the Great Commission by sharing our faith, discipling others, and supporting the work of missionaries and ministries around the world.

Whether you have been a Christian your whole life, are a complete skeptic, or somewhere in between, we want to be a safe place for you to process the unique truth claims of Christianity in a community of love and grace.

Please join us on a future Sunday or Wednesday Night!
