For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD,
as the waters cover the sea.”

                                                 ~ Habakkuk 2:14

Since Grace Presbyterian was formed in 1986, we have sought to honor God and to obey the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) by spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ both at home and abroad. Our first missions conference was held in 1987, and the three msisionary families who attended then are still supported by our body. Giving for missions has grown as our faith in God’s ability to provide has grown so that we are now supporting 29 missionaries and ministries.

We are committed to the truth that the only way to salvation is through God’s only Son, Jesus Christ, yet there are many people in the world who have not yet been reached with this message. The lost may be found on an American college campus, in a jail cell in Georgia, or in a remote area of Africa.

Support for the varied mission work comes through Faith Promise giving; it is not part of the regular church budget. The 2005 Faith Promise commitment made by individuals and families is $101,225.00. These committments were received during the annual missions conference held in the spring. The 2006 conference was held April 28-30 with Dr. Louis Sutton as featured speaker.
